nox strengthens its network in the Netherlands

Significant improvement in quality

nox Netherlands B.V. has successfully implemented the operational realignment of its network. Through targeted measures to further develop structures, processes and infrastructure, the site’s operational efficiency has been sustainably strengthened and delivery quality significantly improved.

The realignment is part of a comprehensive transformation programme by the nox Group aimed at strengthening operational structures and further developing service quality across the European network.

Network specifically developed and integrated

As part of the transformation, the Dutch network has been comprehensively restructured and integrated even more closely into the European network structures of the nox Group. The aim was to reduce complexity, stabilise processes and further improve manageability.

Key measures included:

  • Optimisation of the route network for night and day express services
  • Further development of the partner structure
  • Centralisation of network control via the hub in Nieuwegein
  • Consolidation of departure depots whilst maintaining nationwide coverage
  • Realignment of sorting processes

The hub in Nieuwegein remains the operational heart of the network and, with its modern infrastructure and sufficient capacity, provides the foundation for further growth.

Significantly greater stability and quality

In parallel with the structural development, numerous measures to improve quality were implemented – in line with the nox Group’s group-wide standards.

These include, amongst others:

  • Daily monitoring of quality and the network
  • Targeted process optimisations
  • Introduction of additional key performance indicators

The results show significantly improved operational stability and a noticeably higher delivery quality within the Dutch network.

Investments in digitalisation and infrastructure

nox Netherlands will continue to invest specifically in the further development of the network.

Plans include:

  • Digital control of returns management
  • Introduction of a new transport management system
  • Investments in modern conveyor technology to increase efficiency

These measures contribute to the group-wide development of digital control and platform solutions within the nox Group.

Focus on the further development of products and services

In addition to operational development, nox is continuously working to optimise its product and service portfolio. The aim is to offer customers even more flexible and efficient solutions for time-critical spare parts logistics.
