New battery-electric vans for the nox network

An important milestone: In Munich, we took delivery of two battery-electric vans from HEERO Motors. The vehicles will be deployed on defined routes within the nox network.

HEERO develops electric commercial vehicles using its own software, hardware and battery technology. The two vehicles were converted from existing diesel vehicles by replacing the original powertrain with a battery-electric drive system.

With a range of more than 400 kilometres, a 110 kWh battery, DC charging capability and a payload suitable for the intended operations, the vehicles meet the requirements of our time-critical spare-parts and express services.

During electric operation, the vehicles produce no direct exhaust emissions. Their deployment will also enable us to gain further operational experience as we gradually electrify defined routes within our network.
